Atlas / Aval offer mechanical fixings for additional fixing to their thermal insulation components (EWI) which protects from wind loads (suction) forces once fixed.

Fixing patterns and substrate types need consideration and the fixings come in different variants (plastic or metal pin inserts) and plastic or metal sleeves to suit the insulation type, fire and substrate.
Additional fixings (no sleeves) for timber and other similar substrates are also available.
Site pull out tests and manufactures technical guidance paramount for system warranties.
